We're always happy to welcome new members! To join, simply turn up at a rehearsal, make yourself known to our registrar, Sue Stephenson, or to some other member of the Committee (anyone will point them out - we are a friendly lot). Then sing for a couple of weeks to see how you like us before doing a straightforward voice test with our conductor.

Rehearsals are on Monday evenings, 7.30pm to 9.30pm, with a short break (some of our student members pictured left, enjoying a breather) at the Turner Sims Concert Hall. Membership fees are less than many adult education classes - full subscription £94, reduced subscription £80 and new members £47. We have also just introduced a special new rate of £25 for members aged under 25 years. Membership fees are one of our main sources of income, helping to pay for the promotion of concerts and the professional players and soloists we use.
Rehearsals take place from September to June, with breaks for Christmas and Easter. Our first rehearsal of the 2007-8 season is on September 24th.
