How embarrassing! We ran out of programmes at the concert last night. Our programme-sellers reckon that we could have sold at least another 30. It was a Secretarial fail. I have to take the blame! Kathryn always ends up throwing away half a copse of trees in unsold programmes after a concert, so I took the bold and green decision to order a significantly smaller print-run this time. I thought we would probably be all right, but then there was a sudden (very welcome) surge in ticket sales just before the concert, and we had run out of programmes by about 7.20 pm! I do apologise to anyone who was unable to buy a programme and whose enjoyment of the concert was affected. We'll try to get it right next time, or we might find that there's an unexpected market in secondhand SPC concert programmes!
