Terri Crawley (first soprano) is tripping the light with Matt Harding and friends. Her clip is as much about dance and about the people making of the video itself as it is about music, and it's a very engaging film!
Terri says:
I stumbled on this clip quite by chance but have already sent it on to many friends and family members. I love the surreal quality of this video which, in my view, demonstrates how music and dance can engage people from all cultures, creeds and backgrounds. It transcends the divisive nature of spoken / written language; everyone is included and all are welcome.
If it had just been groups of people dancing to the music it would not have quite the same appeal. The fact that Matt is there among them, when he himself is quite obviously NOT a dancer, adds a sense of whimsy that I find quite compelling.
I’m sure the therapists at Key Changes Music Therapy [the SPC's adopted charity till July 2015] know what I mean; sound and movement are elemental to all human life.
Matt has done several of these films, but this compilation is my favourite.
