Hi, I think the new look is a great improvement, much more contemporary. I also think its a good move to remove the old logo, which was a bit dated. Not sure if the simple logotype at the top here is meant to replace it, but I'd say it could, quite happily. It would go well on the back of a sweatshirt too - large free advertising! I have only one quibble, which is entirely subjective - I personally happen to dislike green, although to be fair I prefer it to the previous purple. Overall, looks good! Best, Steve Waring

Hello Ian and DeborahJust a few words about the 'new look'!.I'm all for change but I'm really not sure about the 'green-ness' of the new web page. I sense something is missing from the header - not sure what!I'm a great advocate of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' and I quite liked the strong purply colour but if the idea is to liven things up it may be an idea to break up the green with some more images perhaps, eg detail of a music score, venues where we sing/hold workshops/rehearse..... Just a thought. Thanks for the opportunity to commentLove Mags

Sorry don't like this new green at all. Don't dislike green but if it has to be green why not the deep rich green of the olive leaf on the Creation leaflets?I do love purple though
I'm sorry you don't like it.

I'm sorry you don't like it. Colour is a tricky thing: I doubt there's a single colour that everyone would be happy with! It wasn't that the team disliked the purple; just that it was felt it was time to redecorate.

Can't see a problem with green - whatever colour one chooses particularly with regard to blues and greens it won't suit somebody. But I'm only on the website to find out if The Creation is being sung in German or English since the Guildhall Box Office couldn't tell me - and neither it would appear does the web page. If one - I'll buy a ticket if the other - I'm not interested.

Hi Tony. I'm sorry that I didn't pick up your question in time for the concert. As you may know, by now, we were performing in English, and I guess from your question that you were hoping it would be in German. It was an oversight on my part that we did not specify the language on the webpage -- apologies for that. I do think that the box office might have offered to find out for you, however! If you need to contact us in future about the choir or the programme, use the Contact Us page -- we're pretty good about responding to emails promptly.

For an extra spot of 'zing' to the new-look website, how about adding a bright and dynamic splash (or horizontal line) of the colour orange somewhere? ! :-)

The new look is a real improvement and easy to navigate. I am neutral about the background colour but it is certainly good to set text/image against. I am sure that there will be further tweaks as a result of feedback and development but it is definitely going in the right direction and gives the choir a much more contemporary feel. Thumbs up to those concerned.

Thanks, Alan. Further upgrades are in the pipeline. We thought we would wait for the lull we usually enjoy over the summer, between the end of this season and the start of the next.
