I would hope that most people have upgraded their web browsers and are not running Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) now, but there have been some people having trouble using Google Docs for the seating plan - this could possibly be attributed to using IE6 which Google no longer supports.

Upgrading is generally an easy process - not something to be too worried about.

Well here's a handy little tool: Speedshifter, a freebie from the ABRSM website, enables you to slow down that tricky section you're trying to learn from a CD or MP3, so that you can tackle it at a speed that suits you.  The great bonus is that the pitch is not affected.
